it was a wild night last night here in central Texas. Thankfully, we didn't get the tornado on this side of town, but at about 7am (the storms blew in at 3) lightning hit the transformer that sits just outside the backyard. There was fire. There was power outage. Luckily, we lost a switch for the server and one small machine, but otherwise, we're intact.
I was going to talk about avalanches in Colorado, as that's what my upcoming book, Loose Snow is about, but this whole thing has me thinking about a whole different kind of storm..
What if every time lightning hit the ground or a tree or something, a new elemental spirit was created? Imagine it, hot, naked guy appearing and searching for his other half... Yum. I like it. *grins* Seriously, what else can you think about in a storm like that?
